Make It Mariko is an award-winning creative events agency based in San Francisco and led by women of color that specializes in experience design for community building.
As experience curators, community activators, and passionate event enthusiasts, we combine innovation, inclusivity, and human-centered experiences to create unforgettable moments that foster lasting relationships. We are committed to curating creative, inclusive, and diverse spaces in the events industry to challenge the status quo and pave the way for a new generation of event experience curators.
Gina Mariko Rosales
Event Producer
Gina Mariko Rosales is a powerhouse experience curator, community connector, and cultural strategist based in San Francisco. She is the Founder & CEO of Make It Mariko, an award-winning events agency led by women of color. Gina also co-founded several cultural initiatives including UNDISCOVERED SF, Pinayista, Balay Kreative, Weddings In Color, and the POC Food & Wine Festival – each designed to amplify the voices of creatives of color.
Before launching her own ventures, Gina spent over a decade in corporate and nonprofit event planning, including seven years at Google, where she was Head of Marketing Events at Google X working with Self-Driving Cars (Waymo) and more innovative tech.
Gina’s mission is to create magical, meaningful experiences that remind people of the beauty and interconnectedness in life. Whether it’s a festival, culinary pop-up, corporate summit, or nonprofit gala, Gina brings a signature blend of precision, creativity, and cultural consciousness to every production. Through her work, she has transformed grassroots ideas into city-wide movements that celebrate identity, spark dialogue, and drive economic and cultural revitalization. Her events unite artists, chefs, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to co-create moments that leave lasting impressions, and often, new collaborations.
Tiara Rumantier
Event Production Manager
Tiara is an Oakland-based event producer and dancer dedicated to creating beautiful, inclusive, and intentional spaces for the QTBIPOC community. Before transitioning to event production, Tiara spent five years working in HIV prevention and health equity for vulnerable communities in the Bay Area. Now she uses her experience in activism and community organizing to support LGBTQIA+ and minority-owned small businesses in producing their own events.
In addition to event production, Tiara is a dance teacher committed to using dance as a medium for healing. She teaches an intuitive movement class that guides dancers to reconnect with their bodies, drawing on her background in street dance styles, contact improv, and somatic movement.
With experience contracting for Make It Mariko, Oaklash, and the Oakland Central Artery District, Tiara brings a wealth of knowledge in local and community-focused festivals and events to Minted SF 2025.
Jon Reyes
Music Curator
Jon Reyes is a veteran DJ and producer whose eclectic soulful sound resonates with dance floors and headphones locally and across the globe. A lifetime lover of music, Jon draws from his musical experiences to connect dots with fresh new finds.
Currently based in San Francisco, Jon holds a monthly residency at the Mission District’s iconic Pop’s Bar with nationally renowned party series Cuffin’ All Thangs R&B and has opened for artists like Hiatus Kaiyote, Sango, Janelle Monáe, Benji B, DJ mOma and many others. His production work has garnered him a global audience on Soundcloud, and has been featured by some of independent music’s most coveted tastemakers including Los Angeles’ KCRW, San Francisco’s KALW, and Seattle’s KEXP, as well as digital platforms like Soulection, BBC Radio 1xtra, NTS Radio, and The Lot Radio and more.
Jon’s passion for bringing strangers together, his lifetime love of music and constant pursuit of fresh new finds make him a uniquely skilled curator, renowned for balancing familiar classics with tasteful future favorites.
Kaithleen Apostol
Marketing Manager
Kaithleen Apostol is a Filipina multi-passionate creative and community builder based in Berkeley, CA. She brings a heart-led, community-centered approach to social media and content creation.
She’s the founder of Binibini Kreative, a creative studio and social media agency dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices and building digital spaces rooted in authenticity, culture, and human connection. Through her work, Kaithleen partners with hospitality brands, event organizers, and mission-driven businesses to craft content that’s vibrant, inclusive, and impactful. Most recently, Kaithleen has led marketing and community programs for Filipino-owned small businesses and cultural events in San Francisco’s SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District as the Marketing Manager of Kultivate Labs.
This summer, she’s bringing her marketing magic to Minted SF. With a deep love for storytelling, gathering, and celebrating culture, Kaithleen is helping shape Minted SF into a space where creativity, music, small businesses, and joy collide.
Avagail Lozano
Marketing Coordinator
Ava is a Filipina American content creator, writer, and community-rooted storyteller based in Daly City, CA. With a background in social media, freelance writing, and brand partnerships, she’s spent the last five years helping mission-driven brands and cultural events tell their stories in ways that feel intentional, vibrant, and real.
As a passionate traveler who’s lived abroad in South Korea, Italy, and Germany, she brings a global perspective to her local roots always looking for the threads that connect people, places, and culture. Through everything she does, she inspires other Filipino Americans and women of color to adventure the world near and far while showing up unapologetically as their most authentic selves.
She’s bringing that same energy to MINTED SF this summer to uplift a space where community, music, and that Bay Area magic come together every week.

Gourmand Group is a boutique, full-service and hospitality-focused, social media marketing & communications agency crafting social strategies and communication campaigns that grow audiences, spark engagement, and build legacies.
Our mission is to empower visionary entrepreneurs and brands to build meaningful connections and ultimate awareness through narrative storytelling. We uniquely provide both digital and experiential marketing support to convert attention to sales.
We are composed of creatives, dreamers, and storytellers that are all passionate about amplifying the message of our clients. Over the past 4 years, we’ve supported 35+ clients across restaurants, bars, non-profits, and food festivals, successfully engaged 168+ influencers, and driven over 20M views on social media for all our client accounts.
Gourmand Group is founded by Angelina Hong who combines her Stanford University education with 8+ years of communication & social media marketing skills. She is a creative strategist and social media expert. Drawing on her multicultural background, Angelina works with clients who value purpose-driven communication and meaningful impact.
Tiffany Woo is our Head of Public Relations with over a decade of experience. She is a seasoned strategic communications professional with extensive experience in food, hospitality, and culinary public relations.
